Okey Penalties
Okey has no penalty points. Only the player who finishes a round scores, and on okey.gg the game makes sure every finish is valid.
No Penalty Points
There are no penalties in okey. Only the player who finishes a round earns points, and every other player simply gets nothing for that round.
How okey.gg Handles a Wrong Finish
At a physical table, a player can declare a finish with a hand that does not actually work. On okey.gg, the game checks your hand automatically. You cannot declare a finish unless all your tiles form valid melds (or 7 valid pairs), so a wrong finish never happens during digital play.
Compared with 101
Unlike 101, okey does not have penalties for discarding specific tiles or for failing to open. The scoring system is straightforward: the finishing player earns points, and nobody else is penalized. See the scoring page for details.
